Embarrassment when others see me playing Final Fantasy XIV

It would be nice if they did more with the colors, but they can't make it too simple, or too easy to HQ everything.

Whenever someone walks in on me playing FFXIV, and let's say I'm Crafting or Gathering, and this person starts watching the screen, I get this feeling of judgement. They're looking at the screen watching me select synthesis options and watching the incredibly slow and uninteresting animations on repeat. I become embarrassed knowing that they may be thinking, "This guy sits in a chair doing this in is free time?"

To spare myself the embarrassment, I normally time my crafting for when my girlfriend jumps in the shower. When she's done, I'd then switch to something else as to avoid judgement.

Exact same thing happens with me and my misses. She also plays MMO's , although not nearly as OCD as i do. She will walk by me watching me as i stare at the crafting UI and just make a mocking hammer hitting metal gesture. She to this day won't let me live down grind crafting 49-50 in one sitting.....

I am all for a crafting system that isn't auto and isn't zombie mode. WTB fun engaging system.

Once you've done ONE gathering or synthesis attempt...here you go boy, repeat the SAME PROCESS like 6.000 times and you'll get to 50, enjoy!
