Summoner 'A Relic Reborn' quest has wrong info or is broken.

After spending nearly 200,000 gil acquiring the erudite's picatrix of healing (yes the quest says healing) enhanced with 2 savage might 3 materia the quest does not recognize the completed item and I am unable to hand it in. I waited 2 days on a GM call to get sent here. Please help me.

I got a very big problem too with this quest, made it for nothing, and they dont care I bet.

I too have this problem, only to be redirected here.
I spent good in game money and time on this, only for it to be thrown back in my face, saying "LOL WOOPS WRONG BOOK SRY"

Personally, I believe if the quest is bugged, having you go out and get some god awful expensive item, only for it to turn out to be the wrong item, SE should somehow refund it back to you.

In any case Ill go ahead and post the proper format for this, just so everything is clear.

Steps:
1. Got the Erudite's Picatrix Of Healing, WHICH the quest said I NEEDED for the quest
2. Got the Savage Materia, and melded it onto the book
3. Go to turn it in, and the quest is still under red lock and key
4. Do some research, to find that the book NAME in the quest DESCRIPTION is the WRONG NAME.


Can we please see someone to fix our problem, and at least refund us back the items in some way? I know you can take the materia off the book, but that would cost us the materia, which are hell-a expensive in their own right.

Thanks for putting it in the right format. I agree if they don't exchange the books, refunding the investment is also an option. This is too extreme of a problem to just fix and ignore us. I spent nearly every gil I have getting my hands on that book.

There is a work around that will allow you to complete this quest, so try asking summoners in-game or use the forums to get the answer you need.
