    Unlocking mining nodes

    Hey,
    what I want to ask is are you required to somehow unlock gathering nodes other than have required level in corresponding DoL.

    I am Miner @ lvl 38 but I can't see level 40 mining nodes in these locations:
    Western Thanalan - http://xivdb.com/?maps/42/w1f1-00/Th...stern-Thanalan
    Easter Thanalan - http://xivdb.com/?maps/44/w1f3-00/Th...stern-Thanalan

    However I can see level mining nodes in South Shroud just fine.

    That's because there AREN'T any level 40 mining nodes in Western and Eastern Thanalan. Your gathering log tells you where there are nodes.
