The easiest solution is to reward players for dungeon boss downing by a 1000-1200 gil reward per boss and a 50-80 gil reward per human mob.

i personally hate crafting, i think its boring as shit. im not hurting for gil YET, but i will roll new guy on my server when its open, just for the gil.
Don't wear your good gear then?
If people are raiding as much as they say they are, a fraction of the time spent doing leves spiritingbonding gear will net them gil.
Stop trying to brute force for gil. Use your brains people.

lawl, spam that link and tell me "WoW is dat wai" all you want. - Not happening. (and well it's getting old but I guess that's your answer for lack of argument.)here is your best choice http://us.battle.net/wow/en/
I'm a 1.0 player who played and enjoyed 1.0 through all of it _WITHOUT_ crafting. And I'd like it to be the case for 2.0 too. This is the place for giving SE feedback about their game, and I'm doing it. If you don't like it too bad for you - I'm staying ( ' w '-
Spiritbonding does not generate gil, leves only generate gil if you're a crafter and can provide the materials yourself. It's a gil fountain, sure, but it's honestly an insignificant one, especially considering people are more inclined to sell the items on the market board for own personal gain rather than generating gil into the economy. Adventurers have no reasonable way to make money, your solution is to have us stroll around naked for a few hours, zerging FATEs. Doing so for a few hours by the way, would probably fund about the the same playtime in dungeons and anything beyond that would result in flat deflation in the economy.Don't wear your good gear then?

You don't realize how this is hurting crafters as much as it hurts everyone else. Cause once everyone is flat-ass broke, no one is going to be buying your shit, and you can't make a personal profit any more. Also the main point of a game is to have a good time, if dungeons is what I enjoy doing, then I should be able to sustain my own fucking repair costs doing so. No one is asking to be rich. Just to pay our repair bills, and not have a horribly fucked up economy in the process, which is bound to happen with no significant gil fountains to counteract the massive gil sinks.
guild hest give you like 2k in 5 min....
thats low level....
HeavensWard theme song lyrics:
-"We can [Stance]dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't [Stance]dance
And if they don't [Stance]dance
Well they're no friends of mine"
At 40 I see my leves (leveling ones) give me 500g per. 4 leves takes me 20 mins. In an hour I can get 6k worth. I didn't say naked. You can use some easily crafted lower level gear to generate a little extra vendor trash or something to sell on the AH.
Also worth mentioning is how everyone has around 100k+ after getting 50. I hear 5k per day thrown out a lot for repairs. That gives you 20 days before you hit rock bottom just doing dungeons. And it hasn't been 20 days yet.
Seems to me people are blowing more money than they have coming in and want more than just their repair costs coming in. You want extra, you gotta do extra. It's your mentality and peoples like you that are dumbing down the MMO genre in general. I like a little complexity and a little personal responsbility because it's things like that differintiate players.
It's not 5k a day. It's 5k an hour.
If 5k were my daily repairs that'd be cheap as heck. Most peoples daily repairs are 20k+

I really don't like that they pretty much force someone into crafting, gathering, etc. In FFXI I never played a single gathering or crafting class, how did I earn money? having fun on my jobs doing game content, hunting rare monsters, doing fun fights that could potentially drop VERY profitable rare items. And these repair bills are pretty out of control. Like someone once said, I'd much rather prefer exp loss than have this feature the way it is now.
Has anyone considered that Repair costs relative to potential daily income at 50 are a throttling mechanism?
It seems you have a limited number of times you can farm runs before the repair costs exceed the Gil you've earned for the day.
Just a thought.
