I don't think SquEnix will be able to convince a large enough playerbase that in order to play their Combat focused character they'll have to play nobby-nobody farmer.

If this game is a sandbox game like many are stating, why can't I make my fortune as a soldier of war?

After spamming a lot of endgame raid dungeon for farming + Titan hard mode relic my gil supply has dwindled to almost nothing and with no good source of income >.< - (5k repair bills btw) I decided to make alts to sustain me some fat checks until this issue is fixed.... a lot of my friends are also down to their last 75k on new server the main problem will soon start on new servers by the end of this week I believe.

If i could make an alt on my server i would already had, but its locked for now

Your right its not, and some of us don't like to craft and don't like to be forced into crafting to be able to sustain ourselves, you should be able to operate in both environments with no issues but as it is now you cant. I don't play this game to craft, if that was the case there are plenty of better crafting systems out there.

Farmers have the choice to either farm exclusivly or combo with some battle. I just think it's fair for fighters to have the same choice, and not FORCE them to be farmers.

Yep thats the issue, fighters are being forced to craft and the people that want to mainly craft, its going to hurt their bottom line since now there is more competition on crafted items and they will be making less. Yes it is a nice option to be able to be all the jobs but a lot of us dont want to play them all we just want to play the way we want to not how we are being forced to.

How is it everyone is so quietly skipping over GC and normal leves? As well as crafting and gathering Leves. They provide a decent amount of gil.

Is there a gil problem? Maybe.

Should it be fixed so people who spammed to 50 and run only dungeons should be self sustained doing just dungeons / raiding? No. That's just lazy game design.

Maybe u dont know. But levi generate 3 per hour. If u wear good gears to do it fast...well then, every hit u take or do, ur rpr gonna go up.

If people are raiding as much as they say they are, a fraction of the time spent doing leves spiritingbonding gear will net them gil.

Stop trying to brute force for gil. Use your brains people.
