The problem is that more people than ever are leveling gathering professions and there aren't enough crafters to keep up. People constantly undercut each other and so prices hit rock bottom. As an example, over the weekend, on Saturday morning, I sold a couple stacks of Bomb Ash for 90g each (not per stack). Just later that afternoon, it had already dropped to 20g each.
