Almost 50... cutscene solution?

Just watch the cutscenes. It's not a big deal. They're not super long or anything. I took my time and watched them all despite others in the group saying we should skip and watch at the inn later. We still finished with about 70 minutes left on the timer. It's not an issue at all.

This depends on the group. In one of the 8-man dungeons, 2 friends and myself were watching one of the cutscenes and when we came out the group was almost wiped because they all decided to keep going.

After that, I started skipping them (to my disdain) just because I didn't want to feel responsible for a wipe.

It was their fault, not yours. You shouldn't feel responsible for their own actions.

I think that one thing that SE should implement is a lock like the one at the start of the dungeons, so that if someone is watching a cutsecene no one can advance and leave them behind.

That's an unnecessary hinderance - The only reason they wiped is because the 2nd healer was horrendous.

What SE needs to do that they did right in XI: Not make 1 source produce what you need. For example, in XI you have numerous ways to special currency for certain things, i.e Abyssea you can do quests, party, curor farm, farm NMs and so on, but in order to get tombstones, you can only do dungeons or primals. There's no quests or other means of getting tombstones.

So you can't blame players, you can simply suggest SE to add in more ways to get it or reduce the cost to clear out farmers (main ones who are rushing everyone.) I mean yeah it's nice clearing Praetorium is 25 minutes or less, but honestly..

Youre not responsible. They were not paying attention. It says it, clearly, in the group windows, who is viewing cutscenes. Whoever pulled while you were watching is at fault, not you. You were enjoying the game as it was designed to be enjoyed. Never, EVER, feel bad for that.
