Stop posting here thx.

Also sorry if I don't sugar coat things to protect your e feelings.
You knowingly abandoned a Quest?
Did you ever tried that with an other quest? It'll be the same result.
Take it like a man/woman.
I like Random-Number-Generator
'cause I'm able to accept that
a dice normally has six sides
a pyramid has 5 sides
a toast has 2 sides
AND I CAN'T PREDICT WHICH SIDES IT FALLS TO.

Thanks ! !!
Man...I gotta say, you brought it upon yourself! It doesn't seem to be a bug at all. You abandoned the quest. Naturally, you will start at the beginning. This isn't the only game that does that, believe it or not.
Try to be a little more....grown up about it... If you REALLY think it'd change anything, just contact support. Because this isn't a bug. Aside from maybe the weapon still being in your inventory...I have yet to do this so I don't know about that part. Maybe you go through the whole quest again, but with less work since you still have the weapon. I don't know what's changed in this quest since 1.0.
But really, straight to the forums...not your best bet... Good thing this isn't in the community forum XD
I was in the repeat login campaign no.2 in XI recently..and got a lot of points but forgot to turn them in for something cool! But I didn't go complain to the XI forum about it! Because there's nothing that can really be done about that.
You abandoned the quest..there's not much anyone can do about it. They can't just roll back your character to the moment before that. Fairly, anyway.
The fact that you're going to quit the game entirely just because of your own little mistake...is just. A completely different story. I don't think you're serious..I think you're just using that to try to get someone to answer quick which won't work. This isn't a game breaker. You made a mistake. The game didn't do this to you. The game isn't even a month into it's life yet, and you're quitting because you abandoned a quest intentionally. Lol.

I understand that this must be incredibly frustrating for you. I know I would be very upset as well. But it is NOT a bug and sadly you aren't likely going to get any help with this issue. You abandoned the quest. So naturally your progress will be lost. This is common sense and should be expexted.
Also it is completely different situation then if you abandoned a story quest. The story line is a series of many individual quests. The relic quest is one single quest. It may have many components to it but it is still one single quest. So naturally like any other quest if you abandon it your progress will be erased. Again should be common sense.

Why didn't you just die and fail the duty? Lol xD
The story line is broken into sections with brakes. Check your completed log you'll see how many story line quests there are. This relic quest however is one long quest with different objectives. It's a linear quest line. This shouldn't be considered a bug. Slow down with what you do. You made a mistake. Your going to have to accept it and either level a crafter or find a way to make your Gil back.

Nope I cant accept this and ill leave the game, I cant even talk to someone and try to negociate, this isnt acceptable.
Talking about childish but this is not an adult thing to do, claiming its your fault and gtfo, do not post here thx.

There is you're response.
If you look in the "Working as Intended" forum, this thread got moved there last week.
According to that forums sticky, it was moved there because that is expected behavior when you abandon any part of the quest.
thats your response from them by being moved there , so it isn't a bug.
