    Facts on becoming a Monk?

    I see soooo many conflicting threads on what it takes to become a Monk. I have a 16 Lancer what else do I need....? I was told the requirements for becoming a Monk have been changed.

    Level 30 in Pugilist and Level 15 in Lancer.
    A quest will then appear in the Goldsmith's guild in Ul'Dah upon obtaining the prerequisites.

    As a Monk you can take abilities from both Lancer and Marauder as well as using all your Pugilist abilities. Although marauder is not a requirement to become a Monk.

    Actually, the quest starts in the Pugilist's guild which guide you to the trainer in the Goldsmith's guild. I think it was the receptionist.

    Make sure you keep up with Hamon's quests. You'll need to complete them to unlock the quest to become a monk.
