FFXIV has stopped working.

Hello, I am getting this crash constantly. It happens when running around inside cities mostly, but has on occasion happened outside of town. I'm not really sure on what I can do to fix it. It seems to happen at random. Sometimes I can go an hour or two without a crash other times it will happen within 15 minutes of running around.

I'm running a Geforce GTX680 Driver # 326.80

i7-3770k 3.5ghz processor.

16 Gig of ram

windows 7 64 bit.

I've gotten a crash (this message) once while in game and a couple of times when tabbing out to skype ect to mic with friends while playing. It's not been to bad for me, and I am running the game max settings with a much less expensive rig than you (though we got the same processor i think) Can you Provide a full DXdaig? that could help shed some light

Edit- for me its not happened enough for me to really care, and i figure they'll patch it eventually. but we might be getting the crash for different reasons so, lets try to figure this out

Ok, I thought it was just me. Same as both of you, I can play for hours and all of a sudden ffxiv just stopped responding. I got the new m14 r4 Alienware with nvidia gtx765. It could be Nvidia?

Hope they fix it soon as its annoying when you playing and get kicked out to only get the 1017.

what else happens when your game crashes, do you see an error on the system tray? sometimes when a game crashes for me i will see and error that my graphics driver has an issue and restarted. This tends to be either a driver issue or a too overclocked GPU. (the latter for me as i'm always tweaking OC settings)

No error, just in the top of the screen, ffxiv stopped responding.

Nope my driver's haven't crashed, I notice whenever its happened (except the one random time I got it in the INN) i was at the coast looking at water when i tabbed out then in (Bam crash) every other time i've tabbed just fine (oh and its crashed 2 times when changing from windowed mode to full screen, now i leave in full screen problem solved)

Have you tried using a different driver version other than 326.80?
