    Anyone noticed this?

Lately it seems like a tank or a dps will just run off as soon as the last person finishes viewing the opening cutscene.

I get it you want to run the dungeon fast but people dont even want to wait on buffs anymore.

I can look past the DPS running away but the tank? Really?

And this is at lvl 50 dungeons.

Because they never play Healer before.

I haven't seen that in the higher level dungeons yet, but I have seen it happen in lower level dungeons. I'll normally sprint ahead of them and cast protect so it'll hit them as they run by, but I really shouldn't have to. We're normally fine without stoneskin until the boss, but that is again only through stone vigil. One of these days I'll let them run ahead and wait for them to come back (alive or not), especially since if you teleport back to the beginning you won't have the "weakness" status.

No you shouldnt have to sprint past them. I completely agree. And I really dont plan on putting it into my cross bar for healer. If I wasnt farming for darklight armor id definitely just let them die.

@Cairn: Maybe but... its a lvl 50 dungeon you should know what protect is by now. Dont need to be a healer to figure this one out.

Let them die, its the only way they learn. Of course they have forgotten again by the time the enter the next dungeon.

I come across many DPS who like to run ahead of the tank constantly and pull mobs, then whine the tank is shit because they have aggro.... actually it makes me laugh people can be that dumb - I let them die too

If this happens, where the party engages the enemy before Protect is ready, to let it be one of your first spells (after the tank gets enmity on everybody).

More ideal when the party can wait a small bit to get AT LEAST this spell off. Stoneskin optional, though highly preferred on tank.

I have a friend that plays tank I yell at all the time for doing this. I don't think some tanks really see just how much damage they get hit for prior to having protect on and it's a pain in the ass to deal with. A few remedies I use are when we're at a stopping point and I put it on or just hit swiftcast+protect on the tank while we're on the move.

When we get to a break point I reapply protect to get the timers the same.

    Yeah, it's frustrating.
I constantly have to use Protect over and over, because some kid who forgot to take his ritalin dashed just out of range before I could finish casting.

    Happens more often than not.

This happened to me today. I even said something to the guy and he said he didn't care. So I ended up wasting mana, and time, healing a dps because he couldn't give two seconds.
