Square, The gold selling spam is getting pretty outrageous. Whispers every 5 minutes, constant gold selling spam in major cites' "Shout." Do you have any plans to restrict them from doing this? Blacklisting every single gold seller just becomes tedious, by the time you've blacklisted one, they stop using that character and start spamming on another.

I'm wondering how many of the gold spam accounts are from hacked 1.0 accounts. Some of the names look like legit players, but the others are just mindless spam. Keep reporting them, but hopefully counter measures will show up soon.

It is really difficult to add a person to a black list. You should manually write a name of the spamming char to it which is not always easy to reproduce.

I would recommend at least adding this option to a chat name click menu. Learning from other games the option may be extended as "Report Spam" which does two actions - adds to a black list and sends a report to GMs.

it gets kinda old to have to stop playing to plug in names on the blacklist. Imagine trying to watch a movie and someone whispers in your ear every five minutes "wanna buy some popcorn"? after awhile you feel like punching that guy in the face, don't you?

To avoid typing the name make a tell to the name spamming, then replace"/t" by "/blist add "

U can copy/paste the full name. Is what I do with all the "Gssdddt Hdsfasd" spam gil sellers. But yeah, a direct link to the BL will be nice.

Just use copy&paste if the name is a complicate one
And don't forget to report them, too

But it would really be nice if the report window show up automatically with a right click on the character name, with most of the dates already filled out.

You have to wonder where they are getting all the money from to sell, while meanwhile everyone is raging on the forums about not being able to make gil. I'm willing to bet most of it is from stolen 1.0 accounts and all the players they did not bother to come back.

they're all snake oil salesman. basically they hack accounts and move gold around, cause there's no way to move it between servers and login issues prevent them from loging in 1000 farmers into the server... there is a chunk of those accounts stolen from people looking to buy the same gold they advertise. very cutthroat.
