I used Pass for most of the loot up to Toto-Rak, and after losing a bunch of items because everyone was courteous about it, I just started using Greed to at least keep the items and plan what class to level next >_<

Nearly every mmo I've played greed is greed, it's not another form of pass. If you are rolling on it for another class that did not actually contribute to the dungeon your reasoning for wanting the item is no more valid than the guy that wants to merch it for repairs or whatever.Like I said, it's about courtesy. People aren't adjusting their way of thinking from previous games where you can hit "greed" all day.
In nearly every MMO "Greed" is another form of "Pass".
In FFXIV "Pass" is pass.
@Usotsuki if you are levelling that class or genuinely intend to do so soon then fine. If you rolled to throw it away then there is no hope for you.
I know where you are coming from. I would of loved to win that THM mainhand when I was on my CNJ, but I didn't do the dungeon on my THM so I can't complain. It would kind of be like rolling need on gear for an alt in other mmo's and complaining when someone else won it for different purposes.
