182 min on duty finder and counting......

I only got 3 hours a night of playing during weekdays...
Was hoping i could at least squeeze in one guildhest, but 182 min later.... still waiting....

Finally gave up cos i got work early tomorrow T.T


Is this common?... i don't really frequent this forum often, so if this has been posted before then i apologise

Play healer and you will get into a dungeon ASAP!

Every worlds are running short on healer, that's why it takes really long. And it might be faster if you just invite someone from your world into your party, even you only have tank and DPS. It makes duty finder match up much more faster.

And every time you see someone play as a healer, send a friend request ASAP!! They're like a rare legendary Pokemon by now.

I am sorry but this is not true, I will say that if you are a tank or healer you will find group through dungeon finder a lot quicker then DPS but the truth is it is dependant on your level and what you are queuing for it will vary on whether its a tank you are stuck waiting for or a healer. Personally for the instances I have queued for lately about 2/3rdwe have been waiting for a tank but when I was a lower level we waited for healers more.
The reason was at low level the only healer is conjurer but after lvl 30 youcan get scholars as a healing class along with White mage/conj

I would guess whatever class/job they add next will be a healer, might be a long wait though

Unlikely. They already have two healer classes (how many do we need?) and the second healer class (Arcanist with Scholar job) is the brand new class/job in ARR.

That's like saying we have four tank classes just because the classes have secondary jobs. We have two healers, and one doesn't show up until level 30 which makes queuing very long for low level DPS without someone helping them out (like a FC or one of their friends).

I mean this is as friendly a manner as possible. Make some friends. It goes way faster. Our healers and tanks always have atleast 2 other people with them and instantly queue into the dungeon. You cant fix no X class is queuing for the duty your looking for. The other thing that would help is the reduction of xp from fates and push people to the duty finder to level. But with the duty finder prone to crashing do we as players really want that to happen?

They need to increase dungeon exp to be up to par with fates not nerf. It takes long enough to grind out 50 on an alt class already. The problem with this as you said id the DF is limited. When we queue with a full group for AK runs it take 20+ minutes to get into the instance with an already full group. I cant imagine if this was the case for all dungeons.

This is essentially the issue. You'll have your normal tanks/healer getting quicker queues because there are less of them (theoretically), however the biggest issue is that dungeons and guildhests for the most part are one trick ponies for your first time around. Even when people come through the lower to mid levels again with a 2nd or 3rd class, and should (theoretically) bolster the Duty Finder queue once more, they skip over it because it simply isn't as efficient as slamming your head against the keyboard for a few hours in FATE grinding.

Nobody does guildhests they are not worth the experience, you need to queue for dungeons. Most people on my server say the DPS queue is about 20 mins, I get in as a healer in less than 10 and tank queues are almost instant depending on the instance you are doing.
