Sending stuff from alts to mains?

Does anyone know of a way to send items such as crafting materials from alts to your main without having to use a friend? Friending your main doesn't work cause the main needs to be online for that to happen, mailing it to your main is impossible because you can only mail things to people on your friends list, and retainers are not shared between alts and mains. So is there anything that can be done or must I rely on a friend with the currently implemented system?

If for whatever reason you want to use an alt, I can confirm it is possible to mog mail yourself.

More inventory space as myself and my retainer are already full.

I could not access the retainer as a lvl 1 alt, so presumably i'd need to get to the appropriate lvl first before I could confirm.

Sounds like you got lucky to me personally, I doubt I'd be able to replicate that bug.

Who's gonna let you take a FC spot for your lv1 alt? except it's a very bad FC that nobody wants to join.

None. Unless you have a FC that's willing to let you use the vault as the in-between. You do not share retainers. Each character gets 2 unique retainers that only they can access.

I used my alt.account to trade items. but only when we're in free trial period.
