The RNG feels very biased

Lost count on how many times I have been doing Ifrit HM without even seeing the cudgel drop.

Now this has happened too many times. A ridiculously bad player, who does everything wrong and dies all the time, gets into the fight their very first time. In the end, the rest of the party finishes Ifrit and the loot drops. The weapon is for the bad player's job and they also win the need roll. This has happened every single time a bad player has turned up in the battle.

The RNG should favor those who actually contribute to the fight. It really tells about someone's contribution when everyone just throws greed on the weapon this failing player did not deserve.

E: Yes, totally a rant post about incredibly bad luck, and then getting frustrated when bad players keep getting loot on first try. You can't deny the RNG should favor contribution, though. Thankfully these ridiculously bad, overly lucky players shouldn't be able to make it past Garuda HM.

Stop your whining, it doesn't have to do with someone being bad its just you whining because you didnt get your drop, have ran it 63 times and have NEVER seen the paladin weapon drop........ but i do have the monk weapon, what good it will do me...

This is incredibly difficult to properly balance and skews terribly if classes are have balance differences in total dps. Not to mention attempting to get it to differentiate tank/healing "contribution" properly, then comes the LB arguments. Simply wouldn't work

The RNG is quite amazing. I see nothing BUT Cudgels. I am now 0/24 on my Fists :/

Murphy's law, not biased RNG. I had to get my MNK weapon by gathering totems back in 1.0, after hundred empty/wrong weapon drops.

They say that if your getting the drops that aren't part of your main job, it means Ifrit wants you to change jobs...

It's the reason why everyone has been getting Tank weapons lately.

I would care less if he stopped dropping weapons for classes that weren't even in the party.

Seen the cudgel and book drop more times than anything. Bow and spear drops the least. Everything else in between.
