Last I checked, MGS1 and MGS2 were singleplayer games, where my lack of preparation doesn't affect anyone BUT ME.
This is different in MMOs like this.

I do not disagree that everyone has their own way of doing content and enjoying it, but my point stands that you do not get to complain about running out of time if you do not prepare beforehand and learn the encounter while playing it -and- failing at it.
You KNEW there was a time limit involved (even the first story quest single instance battle introduces you to this time limit!) and did CHOOSE by your own free will to not prepare yourself.
You made your choice, live with the consequences (in this case, not being able to complete the dungeon if you fail too often or too long).
