Bombking party in Ul'dah?

There are bomb lanterns and balloons and stuff in Ul'dah... Have they always been there?

Nope. They're only there during the summer event, which only just officially started at 4am this morning (Though, a FATE that grants the items needed to buy the reward items has existed since launch).

I love how the NPC in-game doesn't actually tell you where or what to do.... I know it's the FATE in Costa, but the NPC should at least tell people where to go for it...

They seem pretty crazy, running at bombs wearing nothing but knickers.
There is a level 5 fate in La Norscea, I saw it spawn twice near the Thagran Checkpoint.
All the crazy bomb hunting knicker wearing NPCs died though. Was fun!

One of the npc's in Gridania mentioned balloons to use as lures but no idea where to get them, have done the low level fate in North shroud twice and both fates failed. Got 20 of the ash each time.


Don't understand why all the comments on the lodestone article keep complaining about having to be lvl 30+, you dont have to be that high. there are low level fates all over for this.
