Crafting/Gathering inv management is a complete nightmare. Even sort isn't going to necessarily fix it.

I can't count the hours I've lost repeatedly mouse-overing items trying to find the exact one I need. Unless autosort puts ores/cloth/yarn/ingots/leather/skins in LEVEL order somehow, its not going to be much of a solution.

The REAL problems are:

1) multibag inventory: incredibly stupid to have to click through 18 different bags if you count your retainers.
2) Icon inventory: Most icons are so similar that it is impossible to find your item at a glance. Some icons are great, like flax. But armor and most mat icons are indistinguishable. Not to mention the mouseover function gets in the way 100% of the time.

Being able to scan through your entire inventory at a glance - resizable list view window for instance - would be tremendous.
