Even a whm can live longer then a brd if they were prepared.

No job will claim they can do everything. The closest is Drg which can literally almost do everything.
??? What game are you playing. A BARD will hold up and live longer than a WHM any day....We can Shadow bind to give us extra time and kill mobs faster. The white mage would be spamming cure only and then die.
