    Android software token malfunctions on regular basis ?

    I'm just wondering how many are having the issue with the android version of the software token malfunctioning on a regular basis . I have tried it twice now , and both times it would work for 3-4 login attempts , then would start generating bad passwords. The client would be telling me that it needs mixed number/letter keys and all the software token will generate is numerical keys . Both times I had to resort to using the emergency password to recover the account and remove the token . I am afraid to try a third time until it's working .
    So just how many of you have had this issue?
    If you have had the issue , have you been able to get it to work again properly , and if so what steps have you taken to get it to work ?
    Has anyone heard from SE if they are looking into this issue ? IS this issue a back-burner problem until they have solved other issues ?
    I am worried about account security ( I'm a paranoid network security nutcase ) , so I'd really love to have the software token working . I have way to many hardware tokens on my desk as it is . ( 15 currently , some are for work/school , other for games , banking etc. )

    I just started using the addon after getting hacked the other day. Havn't had any issues so far with it. Noone really knows what SE is currently working on or not with such a lack of communication concerning technical issues or anything else for that matter. Horrible customer service for a pay by month game.

    I have a different issue. The software token has a mind of its own. Mine reset on its own and made me do the registration again. The problem is I can't since I'm locked out of the account. I also missed the Emergency Removal Password so I can't unlink my account. It's been a week since and the only response I get is to cancel my ticket if the problem has been resolved.

    Judging from the last date of update in Play Store, nothing is getting done about this app.

    I don't have the problem the OP mentioned, but I do have the one mentioned by Skylain. Mine randomly reset after using it mostly without issue for about 36 hours, (it was after I turned my phone back on after it ran out of batteries overnight, so that might be related). Thankfully I'd saved my emergency removal password, so I removed it from my account and have not put it back. I left a review to this effect on the product page in the google play store, and I saw several other reviews by people with the same problem. The app doesn't cost anything, so I suspect that if it ever gets fixed, it won't be until they've dealt with other issues in other areas of the game first. :/ I wish they'd fix it, I want to use it. I'd even be willing to pay like 1 or 2 dollars for it if it meant we'd get better support for it and sooner fixes. Better than the 11 dollars or whatever the physical token is.

    Ok, I got my problem resolved via chat support. I guess the trick is to get them when they start work. I guess chat and phone support are still more reliable than email
