They need to increase the blacklist by infinite and give us the option to right-click > block on the chat box. It's annoying when trying to type out their names, only to get it bumped because of their spam.

lol Yes, they are a problem. You can turn off /shout and /yell in the configuration. I never had /sh on when I played FFXI.

Alternative for now:

1. Click name > Send Tell
2. Modify text to say: /blist add "gilseller name"
3. Hit enter, confirm
NOTE: If they pop up again, after being blacklisted, remove them from the blacklist and re-add them. Seems to be a bug or some way around it, but re-adding seems to have an effect.

I have 40 people on the blacklist already, and a few hours ago i recorded the chatbox, for two minutes, it consist of only 3-4 gil spammers shouting. And there are the random keyboard smashing names, which means when they get blocked, they just simply create another character in minutes, and start spamming again. This has to stop, with an IP ban. I dont care about them, IP ban them PERMANENTLY. They ruin the game for us, legit players

Its not just spam bots now, I've been seeing alot of mining bots standing in one spot and never moving with a keyboard smashed name, mining when their spawn pops and then never moving to the next spawn as a human player typically would. This is already affecting the price of ore on Shiva and I assume other crafts and gathering professions are also affected.
