Aphelion Leveling/Dungeon UI

This layout feels like your in a pilots seat as a black mage, eye'ing in on a focused target or battles. Since this is on a ranged THM/BLM character it works well when zoomed in for those tight spaces and zoomed out in wide area's.

There seem to be quite a few of these UI windows that are unavailable on PS3, multiple chat windows, Gil display, horizontal hotbars, circle menu options, those square boxes.. Not even sure what those are... I understand my controls are not as complete as a KB/mouse but I should still have access to these features. Especially since I can hook up a kb for chat purposes, I should be able to get to customize and use it for control

I actually even considered buying a gaming PC just so I could have this layout available to me.

Here's mine. It's easy to swap between classes.
The top chat window is mainly for what the boss is casting.
The second one is for LS, FC, tells, and party chat.
The third one is for gathers, synths, loot, says, and shouts (good for keeping the walls of text from obstructing FC or party chat).
Having the marks on the hotbar makes it easy to mark when the tank forgets too. The bind marks are on my Bard hotbars.

G1 = Esc

MAJ+G14 = Set focus (tank e.g.) = MAJ+F in shorcut list
G14 = target focus = F in shorcut list

G7 = target target's target = T in shorcut list
MAJ+G7 = target enemy attcking you

Left thumb (on the left of the joystick) = I for Inventory
MAJ+Left thumb = Arsenal
Right thumb = M for Map

Press joystick = character panel

Mine which is pretty simple, got 3 hidden bars with Macros, Options, Gearsets that I use via my Logitech G13.

Recently added a /hud minimap on/off macro to even get rid of that .

Mind you share how you have done to hide some bars with one command please?
I really wish to hide with one key all vertical bars, note I have a g13 too, but can't find the working macros unfortunatly.
Also I would like to hide some parts when out of combat, anyway if you can tell me what macros or giving a link, thanks.

Mine's simple, but I kind of like a "clean" look. Can't stand clutter.

Ever since Phantasy Star Online on the Dreamcast and FFXI, I've been a controller+keyboard user whenever I could be. So I always have at least one hotbar of either keyboard abilities or macros.

Well, since I posted; I'm not going to share my UI, but a few observations...

1) You need to always look where you're standing, so other important things should probably be visible at the same time.
-If your health/mana bar isn't nearby you can't watch both
-If you're healing and your party frames are far away you can't watch both

2) There are some things you don't always really need to look at... and they should be further away
-Hotbars; you should know your buttons without looking; sure it's good to be able to see them but you should know what's there without looking too closely
-Minimap; there are some encounters where it's pretty important, but most encounters can be handled without a minimap at all
-There's a lot on the edges of the screen that seem like usefull space, but you need to balance that with being able to see what's hppening around you

3) Aesthetics
-Aesthetically pleasing "pretty" UIs seem nice, and improve gameplay experience, but ultimately functionality should trump aesthetics.

Sadly, had to switch to another PC since my first one was too weak to run the game.
Which basically means that I went from a 1920x1280 screen to a 1680x1050 screen.

Just imagine how pretty this would look on a 1920x1280. Atleast for me. :P
