Rested Xp

This has been my conflict. Continue to level to 50 and then start class hopping. Or take it slow like I have been and level another class. I am resisting the urge to level MAR so I can get some of their goodies for my Paladin.

But I won't do it if I loose my rested XP.

I've unlocked gladiator last night with rested xp and kept it. So it might be roll of the dice for that bug. Still wish rested was per class or based off your max level.

I've not experienced this, I swap classes all the time and haven't had the bar reset on me.

Lucky you then ... question is now if it's based on some in game conditions, specific classes switching from / to, particular location or worlds? We need more data on this to be able to find the pattern.

From what it was in 1.0, assuming, even if it isn't the case because of a bug, it should be a flat amount of xp gained across all classes.

So for use of simple numbers, I. Have racked up 100k xp in bonus xp.
Use 50k xp on blm level 45
Switch to level 4 archer, you should still have 50k to use.

Which is why if you are on a low level class and see xp bar boost all the way to the next level, switch to a high end level 49 class you might not see a boost because its so small in comparison.

But if the bug is causing it to vanish from going from your level 45 class to level 5 class then it needs to be looked into. Any patterns anyone notice when switching classes makes it vanish?

That's exactly what is happenning here - switching from 37 lvl WHM / CNJ to 10 - 17 lvl (Leatherworker and Arcanist respectivelly) secondary class will instantly "wipe" all the accumulated bonus and will not show even when switching back to original class at which the bonus was accrued (WHM / CNJ).

Well I always rest on my main / highest level class so never have any bonus on other classes to actually test it and as said above - even changing to secondary class and right away back will instantly wipe the accumulated bonus. I can indeed try it tonight so see if that makes any difference or not.
