Rested Xp

Actually from my experiance if i swap classes at all when i have rested exp i lose all of it. Eg. I had about 1/3 of a bar rested on my archer at 17, went and got profs from limsa guilds, hadnt done any kills or turn ins or watnot, went back archer and had no rested. Also i didnt have any rested when i was on those lvl 1 classes either.

The same here - it resets / looses the rested XP bonus the moment you change the classes and it's gone even if you change back to the class which had bonus before the change so I really wonder how those of you claiming having the bonus on all other classes have achieved this? Or are you actually changing the whole character rather then just the class?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or working as intended but it's pretty annoying to not be able to change the class without loosing it's rested bonus at the moment.

So far this is how it works based on my own testing together with couple of my friends:

1. Resting is (of course) applied to all your characters (don't mix up with classes on the same character).
2. Resting is NOT applied to other classes then the active one on the same character.
3. Changing the class (even momentarilly and then back) will reset / loose your collected and unused rested bonus instantly
4. Changing the job (on the same class) will NOT reset / loose your current rested bonus.

Anyone can confirm any of above from your own experience? Do you think that 3. is a bug so we should all together report it in the bug section? (It's actually already reported there but not using the requested form by someone ...)
