Help! PS3 Chat box, can't resize!

So, I'm playing on the PS3 and for some reason the chat box is 4 times its normal size and is taking up half my freaking screen in the bottom left corner where its been. I can't get it to go back to normal. I've tried logging in/out and messing with the HUD layout (even though theres no option to resize it there...) I don't know what to do.. I can't enjoy the game as much looking at a bunch of gold spamming text being thrown into my face

Hold L1 and press on the Right thumbstick. An arrow will pop up that you can move on screen. Hover it over the triangle corner of the chat window, press and hold L2 (it now acts as a right click like a mouse) and move the chatbox to your desired size.
