    Leveling Crafts

Hey so I'm leveling Leatherworking, Smithing and Goldsmithing up to around 30 and need a few tips please

    1) should I complete every craft on each step for top xp or skip a bunch and just try stick to highest level first time craft?

    2) For Blacksmithing and Goldsmithing should I also level Mining or is it not important?

    3) I'm really poor Leatherworking > Goldsmithing > Smithing seem like a good order?

    4) What sort of items I make should I AH and what do you do with all the random NQ items you accumulate?

    5) Anything else I should know.

    6) Is there a way to prepare multiple crafts at once so I don't have to keep re selecting it and is there an easier way like a macro to make them? I have to make like 100 leather right now and that is going to take a life time of spamming.

Thanks so much if you take the time to help

Hmm lots of questions here. I'll answer on how I leveled my stuff:

    1. I wouldn't level 3 crafts at the same time if you have no intention of leveling a gathering class as well. GSM / BSM both use a lot of ore, which is expensive if you have to buy it off the AH, most of the time.

    2. Leatherworking is an absolute pain (as is weaving) because it relies mainly on getting items from stuff you kill. If you're saving everything you kill from leveling your ACN, that's fine, but know that it will go slower if you're not keen on grinding mobs for a few hours to get the hides / skins you need.

    3. AH the HQ stuff you make. Normal quality stuff does sell, but usually only the higher level stuff (for now) when fewer people are making it. Always check, but don't expect to get much from NQ stuff.

    4. I leveled my crafting classes by first and foremost making at least 1 one of everything in the list. You get bonus XP for finishing things the first time and it adds up. Also, when crafting, try to get the highest quality possible. Even if you don't get an HQ item from it, it boosts the XP earned. XP is based on how much you raise the quality.

    5. Levequests will award bonus XP if you turn in HQ items (up to 200%). So if you find a good levequest you're willing to repeat and can make lots of HQ items for it, do it. You'll get the XP from getting the quality up on the items themselves, then the XP bonus during turn in. Also, some levequests will have you turn in 3 items, then ask you if you have more. These levequests are basically 3 in 1, as you can repeat the turn ins twice, for a total of 3 times before the levequest actually finishes. If it asks you if you want to turn in more and you haven't made more yet, just say yes, it will tell you you don't have the materials, but it won't abandon or finish the levequest, it will wait for you to make them and turn them in.
