This. This makes sense. With regard to quantity buying, why not implement a discount system? Off the top of my head, here's how it could go:
- Seller puts up 99 superstuffs at 100 gil apeice (total for stack = 9,900)
- Game asks "Would you like to offer a bulk discount, yes/no?"
- If Seller answers Yes, the stack must be sold as is (any Buyer must buy all 99)
- If Seller answers No, the "standard discounts" will be displayed on the Market Board
The "standard discounts" would be
- Buyer buys 1-10 items, pays full price (100 gil per item)
- Buyer buys 11-25 items, receives 5% discount (95 gil per item)
- Buyer buys 26-50 items, receives 10% discount (90 gil per item)
- Buyer buys 51+ items, receives 20% discount (80 gil per item)
While that sounds like a nice system it fails the KISS method. Either allow one to buy part of a stack or don't. But making fancy break points that work for you may not work for another or the discount scaling may not be right.

Voice chat system period, it's a lot quicker for us PS3 players and certainly for our PC counterparts to just simply talk than to type, especially mid-fight when there's a heap of things going on and you have to stop to type out alerts for the most important, which leads to a quick death for you, and the party possibly.I would like to see an option for voice chat for the PS3 players. Preferably a set up for a small group or party to help coordinate with those that don't use keyboards so well, it gets so tiring having to wait every 5mins while someone your talking with has to type a reply.
I also agree with the player who suggested the EVE Online style marketplace (sorry I forgot to add your post to the quotes here) as just the simple act of being able to post 'wanted' style ads will basically make the markets function a lot faster without items sitting around forever waiting for the off chance of someone possibly wanting them.
I just wish I could still PM people while in dungeons or during dialog with an npc :/
Ability to sort Free Company members list by each field (first name, last name, grand company, current class level, last online, rank, ect...).
Add join date as an attribute for free company members.
I'd like a way to break down crystals and clusters to make shards. Because unless you're level five or below, mining shards gives no worthwhile amount of XP.
