Sell Fantasia on the Mogstation

Requesting additional Fantasia potions.

Do it... $20 so people don't abuse it, put a 7 day cooldown on it too.

A lot of people are assuming that I want cash shop items, this is not the case so please don't bring out the worst from this little suggestion. Selling exclusive mounts, in-game armor and items is not what I had in mind and is something that I am strictly against. I'm not asking Square-Enix to go down the micro-transaction route, but giving us Character Services like Character Transfers, Name Changes and Re-Customization is perfectly fine. These options don't affect anyone but the player, they don't unbalance the economy and they don't give any unfair advantages whatsoever.

Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn is unique because to play other classes you don't need to make a new character, you can unlock everything on your one character and play it for several years. This means you will most likely be stuck with your race and appearance options, which in my honest opinion can be quite annoying for some players. Down the line, people want to change their appearance... whether it's height, face detail, muscle mass and even race, giving us the option is nothing but a step forward in this gaming industry.

The team is still discussing the details around this, but in the future we definitely want to offer more phials of Fantasia as well as something that allows players to change their name.

We've checked again with the team on selling Fantasia, and have confirmed that this item will be available for purchase at a later date. We don't have anymore information as to when it will be available however but we will be sure to update you as soon as we know.

I'm thinking 30 day cooldown would be more reasonable, but hell why not.

Edit: This is not a cash shop issue, someones ugly mug in game offers zero advantage. However I do think 30 days is the best time frame, you don't want some ADD person showing up to your events every day looking different. Basically force self-control on those that don't have any.

I'd put a cooldown on name change services WAY before I'd ever put a cooldown on the use of Fantasia (just to throw it out there, 90-day cooldown on name-change services). If a guy is paying $25 per bottle of Fantasia and wants to get himself enough to change his appearance every day for two weeks, let him. Changing your appearance doesn't cause harm, whereas being able to change your name has the propensity to invite scammers and FC-bank thieves.

Same, though I can think it'd be funny in a way to get your whole FC in on a joke except 1 person, change to a lala (or other race if not one), show up to Coil or something and play it off like you've always been one lol

I think in my case my biggest problem would be OCD rather than ADD - I like the way my character looks, but from some angles when the llght source is in front of her she looks really odd. I'd probably find one instance in the entire game where I never go (Sapsa Spawning Grounds or something) and have to change the whole thing again. Knowing I only have one is the only thing holding me back.

How come? It's not game-breaking at all, people like to change their characters every so often without re-rolling entirely... and since this game has no real point of Alts, Fantasia would be a great service to have.

Just put limitations on it, I think once a month is perfect.. or maybe Once every 3 months.
