The more days SquareEnix resists to take that money for the sake of aesthetic integrity of their game, the more inclined I am to keep subscribing even during the months I don't play.

Getting new hairtcut or new clothes is fine, switching race nilly-willy: a big "no thank you" and it seem SquareEnix agrees.

You are entitled to your opinion, but it does seem like a silly reason to bank your subscription on. Either way both confirmed by Dev and GM, they do want to make more of these available in the future. I don't know if it will be for money or not, either way I don't mind as long as they are available to people that want them.

Far too many companies try to monetize at every corner they can find without caring how it affects their game as an artistic creation. Arenanet with their Guild Wars 2 is one of them, an I hope SquareEnix with FFXIV won't be one of them.

Fantasia should be extremely restricted in availability and not something you purchase with extra money beyond your subscription, no matter how much money they would earn doing otherwise.

why? fantasia potions and the ability to reskin your character give virtually no in game advantage or edge. they are purely cosmetic. personally ive already used my fantasia but im already starting to grow bored with my look and would like to switch it up to see if i like something better. aesthetics are a very important part of alot of people's play style and if they arent happy with or grow bored with how their character looks they may very well quit over it.

looks are that important... far far more important than stats imho

Glad you got yours! I'm starting to think I have a really lazy GM / support team on my case. That, or like Rickyguo said, there is something amiss with my case. Can't imagine what it is, though. Pretty cut and dry situation. I even told them exactly which day I used my phial initially. As happy as I am for you guys that got yours, I'm pretty steamed that Rickyguo gets his in seven days, Edweird gets his in 21 days, and I'm sitting at 34 days and still being fed a "first come, first served" line.

Got my fantasia today, after putting the request in on the 22nd.

I put my ticket in on the same day and I'm still waiting. I've submitted several increasingly unsatisfied tickets and replies recently to try to prod them into action. So far I just keep getting the run around with obviously automated messages; it has been 22 days. If they are really doing these on a "first come first served" basis (I doubt) and they really have so many tickets that a simple item restore takes this long, then they should be hiring more staff. This is unacceptable for something that should take a couple of days.

I am actually thinking about quitting my game over not just this,
I have wrote them a few times via email with questions but I never get answers or even acknowledgement of the questions that I have asked about either my account or ingame issues. This tells me A lot and the fact that I was told I could have my game account banned for talking about customer service and when something is posted as a due date or a promise to the customer of that when it is broken and not a single word or update I called it false advertisement I was threatened. Know this SE, I was never bashing or putting the company down and I did not break the tos at all please review what I wrote you through my email. I have never been through this with any game before. I just want customer service and an open forum that they can talk back to us like 99.99% of games do!

P.S. The thing that bugs me most is Final Fantasy is my favorite roleplaying game(s) rather offline or online and I as many support you SE, Please show us something back

I'm talking the entire history of final fantasy is a big part of my world and many others...
I remember when ff8 came out and they did a thing with Toyota and squall standing next to this new car, I went to game stop and bought this huge sign with the artwork for it. Also ff7 has been a huge part of my love for rpg's as well as the music that nobuo uematsu put out for the majority of the games including ff a realm reborn, The art style, Everything.
