Honestly, i don't see why people hate cash shops. Cash shops are fine if they are used for non-progression items.

I hate to hark back to WoW for this, but they have run a solid cash store for years.. allowing you to change your name, race, faction or buy non-combat pets and mounts; All of these things are of absolute zero influence on the game and it's progression. From what i hear, they may be taking a trip down a bad road soon, with an in-game cash store... but that is Blizzard, and does not mean SE would go that route if they introduced a cash-store of sorts.

The end of the world mindset needs to stop; Seriously, every time someone mentions anything for this game, they only focus on the absolute -WORST- possible scenario and think that will be the reality. There are a lot of things to dislike about a cash shop, but that's only if the shop itself runs rampant.

Because there are games where vanity actually is a significant part of the game. League of Legends and Path of Exile can have vanity item mall, because vanity is not even close to being significant in their games. Guild Wars 2 and FFXIV should not do it, because vanity actually matters there.

Edit: it comes down to the point that anything the game finds significant, should not be sold through item mall.

Or we could craft them...Like have super duper rare crafts and take a long time to make them and there you go.

Well I cant find my character on forums list but i have a male lvl 50 hyur that I used the potion with my sub and I regret changing it from lalafel to hyur, so want to know if its possible thats going on with the potion, I did see on another threat that SE did say something about it but can't find any info any were...

Would be nice to get some word from Square themselves, even people that don't visit the forums are expressing their desire for more Fantasias.

I think its fine to sell cosmetic items on the store like mounts, pets, race change potions whatever. That don't really effect gameplay. Blizzard does it with their games.
