Sell Fantasia on the Mogstation

SE, the new Veteran Rewards do not include a new Phial of Fantasia. You people are horrible for withholding new Fantasias from people because you intend to sell them someday.

This whole situation would've been fine, though, if the effect of the potion lasted an hour so you can see what your changes look like in every desired lighting effect and piece of relevant gear; so you can just go back and change it again if it didn't look quite right. Instead though, we get a handful of lightning styles and 3 pieces of armor you never see again. You can't even take in-game screenshots in the creator. You give so many options to customize but not enough information to make a real decision.

Yes, I'm vibrantly unhappy about this. Can someone please find a way to distribute more Fantasias so I stop regretting how my character looks? Please?

Give me more free stuff, why can't I demo my apperance

You were given one (sometimes) two, one through veteran rewards, another if you were a 1.0 player and ontop of that you had the edit as a legacy character when you first logged in from your 1.23>2.0 transfer.

So, you can't really say "Give me more free ones" Square Enix, they're well within their right to charge for this seeing as every other MMO has charged for a service like this before them.

They said they'll offer it as an optional service, it'll be your option whether to pay for it or not.


As for the 'How do I demo my apperances!?' simply create a new character, run around, emote, wear gear, try different areas/styles and then make your informed decision.

"Make more characters". That's assuming people are paying for the standard addition of the game (Having 8 chars per world).

Yes, you can make 1 char per world with the entry addition of the game, but you can't try on delicious clothing!! You aint got no gil !! D:

It was more of a suggestion/solution to the 'The character creator' isnt enough scenario.

I got my Fantasia easily enough once I used the correct contact format, must be hit/miss.

I'm missing the point because I know everything.

It's not about getting free stuff, it's about Square-Enix ignoring customer needs and dealing with all the customization options with how limited the Fantasia supply is. You think I wouldn't pay for one right now if I could?

And oh, I guess I can just see what Miner gear looks like on a test character. Or a coatee. Or any Allagan piece.

As far as screenshots go, don't take me for an idiot. I mentioned that because you'd think of all the places you'd want to take comparative screenshots in, you just can't. I shouldn't HAVE to ctrl+PrtSc or Fraps.

By the way, if you come to this thread just to be antagonistic to people trying to add their voice so SE would hurry up selling or finding some excuse to distribute more fantasias: you're absolutely pathetic. Condescending know-it-all's like you should consider posting replies to people directly AFTER they cease being so full of themselves. Jerk.

Just got my Fantasia in the mail around 7pm Yesterday !! 8 days later !! But so excited !!

Just an FYI: Mail from a GM shows up as an orange/red glowing mail letter icon instead of the regular white letter.

So yeah! You will know exactly when you have the mail from them!!
