I'm not falling 8 weeks behind on Myth caps, no way.Why would we need this when we all got 1-2 potions already to do this, as far as name changing goes as well, seriously people re-roll if you're that unhappy with the character you created. No one forced you do create what you've made/named. Asking them to do this, is just slowing down the bug problems they already can't solve/handle, so why slow down the over all process of the game cause you're unhappy with your character?
WTB Phial of Fantasia, name change is less important but its true it would not fit my desired race/gender/appearance.

Being able to change your character's appearance should have been a feature in launch, just like every MMO. Being able to completely change your character's Race/Sex/Name via some sort of RL money item is a thing in most MMOs. Your concerns that this is a colossal technical undertaking for SE that would prevent them from fixing bugs/glitches in the game is unreasonable.

As far as I'm concerned this IS one of the problems you mentioned that they can't solve/handle. But seriously, how can you argue against the distribution or even redistribution of Fantasia? It has no negative effect on game balance at all... It only makes the player base happier to be wasting their time and money on the game, and adds to that person's immersive experience. Why would we need this when we all got 1-2 potions already to do this, as far as name changing goes as well, seriously people re-roll if you're that unhappy with the character you created. Some people are picky. *raises hand* I really doubt anyone opposing us in this thread will understand this, but I spent so much time on the character creation that the game logged me out I guess thinking I wasn't there. I'm highly visual, artistic, and perhaps am a little OCD so sit there and scrutinize every little thing when making a character weighing stuff that is probably not even important to the majority (given the characters I've seen), but it is for me and others. Then when you get the character in game, some things just don't transition over well from the character creation screen to the actual in game rendering, my eye shadow colors seemed way off, I didn't like the animations for that race, hair color looked a lot lighter, I didn't realize just how short the height bar would make her, and more and more little nit picky things added up as the game progressed.
When I made her, yeah I was content. When I saw her in world it slowly grew into the point I didn't like seeing her. So I remade my character to an Elezen with my subscription reward. The pre planned look I had in mind didn't work because the hair style I had wanted was way to clippy with other objects so I had to go over the process again and just to make a long story short while I'm content with what I have, I wish I chose another race. I can live with her now, but I'd rather have one more go at it.
If they give me another fantasia free HELL YEAH, I'd much rather take that than buying one. But for some of us the desire to change is the point we don't mind paying for the item.

Lol @ comparing Fantasia potion to RL Cosmetic Surgery. It's a game man. There doesn't NEED to be - but there could be a realistic way for those who want to change their character features every now and then to get one (or more). I don't think it should be sold for real money directly but let's say every 6 months of subscription, they could provide an optional Veteran Reward of the Fantasia Potion.
Can these Fantasia be sold in game? Got 2, won't use and would be nice to put on AH. Won't sell for RMT but for gil ubet.
No cooldown and make the cost 10 bucks and I'll be happy.
Perhaps 20-25 with a name change option along side of it, that does have a 60-90 cooldown (due to name change)
I don't see why people would want the price to be 20 bucks for an appearance change, along with a long cooldown, it wont affect anything.
daily bump!
