Sell Fantasia on the Mogstation

If they dont sell things that give a definite in game benefit and the added money helps them to fund more and bigger expansions with the content I want to see, I'm all for it.

Its only when they sell items that affect stats like movement speed and xp gain that I have a real issue. Changing appearance isnt going to break anything, but I hope they do add name changes to go with it at some point.

No idea why players want to pay more. As if 15 dollars a month isn't enough to get things free. I guess players just like the nickel and dime model that much and why rmt is big business.

I don't think being concerned is same as being crazy. The fact remains, if the demand is there then what's to stop SE from selling everything alacarte ?
Seriously if 95% of all servers requested they sell.. Relic Weapons at the Mog Station ... who's to say SE wont consider it ?
If you tired of your gear not dropping from CT/BC .... just start a petition on the Fourm. I'm sure if a large enough customer base requested it be sold. SE will do it.
Now do you see where selling Fantasia is just the start of many things to come ? Soon Mounts will no longer be free or earned in game.. instead pony of some real money on the Mog Station. WOOT

Well if SE is going to go through all the trouble of sales distribution on the mog station for Fantasia , I at least hope they consider being able to change your characters name along with gender. Nothing more annoying than playing with a cute Miqo'te in pigtails and mini skirt named Doug.

I was not aware someones face/body/size gave them special in-game advantages, do go on. The fact of the matter is the item they are adding does not provide any special benefit other than changing appearance of your base character model. Please don't extrapolate some cash shop nonsense they have in other games. If they did decide to add items of a nature you are proposing then we can all quit because that means people with more money than sense have won them over.

I don't see why people are upset over this. In a game that demands so much work be put into a single character I see nothing wrong with wanting the option to change them down the road. People play MMOs for months-years. This might come as a shocker but people's tastes can change in that time. I sure as heck wouldn't want to have to drag myself through the story all over again, losing all my class progress and event items, just to change my race or appearance. I'd sooner quit then start all over. Nobody is asking SE to sell mounts or anything else that people are pulling out of their asses. I wouldn't want that either. It's just an appearance change option.

Funny how we have 100+ pages asking for this to be sold on the mog station but when it get's confirmed that it will you all pick up your torches and pitchforks. I'm happy to see it being sold on the mog station just like the WTS it has no major impact on my gaming experience.

The impact is that if players want to have the same options they have to fork over more money on top of the 15 dollar sub fee. That's why cash shop suxs even if it's cosmetic items only. If it's not free in game, it doesn't belong in the game for P2P model.

By that logic the World Transfer Service doesn't belong there either. Both the WTS and the Fantasia are services that the majority of the community won't use but are being added as options for the people that do want them. We don't know how much they will cost nor if they have restrictions like the WTS does all we know atm is that they will be there.
