I am a DRG why cant I need on this,

might as well take LNC/DRG off it if we can't need, cause we will never get it.

Yeah the #1 armor we want (Scale) we cant need. Has to be a bug

btw, LNC/DRG cant need on it because it is TANK gear that happens to be scale (which scale can be equipted by both tanks and LNC/DRG). the only reason it has LNC/DRG on there is because it is scale. LNC/DRG are DPS and therefore are unable to roll on TANK gear. this happens with items with tank stats that can be used by all DoW. LNC/DRG is dps. why would you want tank stats to dps?

don't complain that a pure dps class/job cant roll on tank gear

sooo whats the reason i cant roll on scale gear that has determination crit and accy yet tanks can? Lancers outright cannot roll on any scale, be it tank or dps, tanks can roll on all scale.

This is not possible. Show me proof. (except maybe at low level but I doubt it)

odd how in a game less than a month old a bug "is not possible" O.o. So far ive yet to ever see a piece of dps gear usable by gld/mara/lancer/pld/drg/war that i can need on.

We have rolled all possible items in Adampor Keep and none of our two tanks has been able to need on a DPS DRG part or Disciple of War. And DRG can't even need on Disciple of War str items (only MNK can)

Thats where im going tonight. So its good to know it works as it should endgame. It is still a problem that should be fixed midgame then (where the OP is)

level 15, so scale is actually quite good for tanks, i can see a tank wanting that, but i dont believe a lancer should be blocked out from needing it. (not my picture obviously)

You cannot need items that do not fit your role.
You can equip it if you so desire but this is NOT your main item. You want item with Str/Deter or Str/Crit
