Before Meteor and ARR soundtrack discussion

So, yeah, a thread for discussing the music from 1.0 and from A Realm Reborn. What're your thoughts on ARR's music so far? I'm in love with the NM FATE and Levequest themes.

As for Before Meteor...an excellent high-quality soundtrack, would definitely recommend buying. A bit disappointed that there were a few 1.0 tracks missing, though.

There's also an alternate version of The Dark's Embrace (the dungeon field theme, with the dungeon battle theme being called The Dark's Kiss) with a different intro that was in the game's coding but was never used.)

Hoping that these tracks get an official release at some point!

id love to have the Dalamud version of Answers, it reminded me of This Mortal Coil and the whole 4ad era, i know thatll go over alot of people's heads!

the problem however, is no dalmund minion mentioned in the description. i will not order till this is confirmed, i asked in the beta threads, but i had no reply before they were wiped.

can we get an official reply for this?

The odd thing is that it only seems to show in certain countries. So far I got it confirmed it shows for France, Belgium and Germany, but not for UK, Spain or the Netherlands.

So have they already mentioned where someone from one of the other 43 countries in Europe should buy that soundtrack?

I just don't get it - why announce that the soundtrack will be available in Europe ("Rest assured that we will be offering the Before Meteor soundtrack for sale in Europe") and then limit it's availability to a meager 3 or 4 countries?!

I've ordered two from the UK Store, and will let you know when they arrive; it was said all the first prints will be Dalamud-Coded, and these are part of that first print (assuming). But I'll let you know.

there's currently 20 in the playlist, but I have a few more from Before the Meteor planned and many more from ARR as the official OST is released

Thank you sooo much for this! I've been looking to see if the UK one was up every day, and didn't think to look there.
Shame the listing doesn't confirm the Dalamud wind-up minion, but they've previously said it will be included so I'm sure it will be.
