Black Screen Launcher with a twist

in short my launcher is black, i have found a solution which is to update java on IE and do some trusted sites and lower my security and also uninstalling the IE 9 update which i actually can't do because i didn't even install it (the twist).

so yeah any solutions bar those? if not im assuming ill have to wait till SE fix it.

i wonder if SE will fix it, nothing seems to be said anywhere about it other than a few people on the forums. worst thing is i have done everything i possibly can followed loads of fixes and its still happening...the only one i havn't tried is reinstalling windows 7 on my pc which i'm not doing
