Quicktongue Materia III - Question?

Hey all,

Currently on the Odin(EU) server the Quicktongue III is in my opinion just a tad over priced, ranging from 120k to 90k. This makes me feel that not many people are getting their hands on many, so the supply & demand is want is pushing the price up and of course people not understand the economy of the game at this moment in time due to level 50 not being able to make vast amounts of gil like we used too while leveling up.

Anywho my question for those that may know this is where is the best possible place to gain items to get those bad boys leveled up to convert into possible Quicktongue III? I've checked the boards to see if there are many items to buy and level up, but sadly that is a no go.

So any advice would be awesome because I want to get this damn relic reborn start started

Dunno how helpful this is, as I could be wrong as wasnt paying much attention at the time, but I think I got one from a HQ Turqoise Ring, so NQ with probs have a chance at dropping aswell?! I materia'd it with some other items I can't remember tho, sp it coulda come from one of those.

As with Blaize, I used the marketplace and a guild goldsmith to gain access to turquoise or tourmaline rings/accessories. I spend a couple hours farming fates in northern thanalan to spiritbind and covert the set and will normally get a quicktonue out of it. I got the 2 i needed for my WHM relic weapon in a single arvo just grinding like that.

Unfortunately I don't have access to a goldsmith to pump some of those out for me right now. Hoping to find a instance or location where I can find items, which have a nice chance of the materias from being converted.

I just got the quest, checked the market and found out how overpriced this is and i'm glad that i'm not the only one that can't afford 2 of those :/ Too bad that i don't have a goldsmith.

yeah Superlol, I went and bought 2 rings and a necklace (normal not HQ) and will grinding some mobs to get them up and see what happens. If I do get Quicktongue from them, I'll buy the risk on there and sell the tongues for a far cheaper price then the mofo on the board currently.

Exactly the same thought as mine. They are cheap and give good mnd and piety for now, and selling the Quicktongue for 20-30k would be much better and a nice profit.
Do you have a good way to get the soulbond up? I thought about fate farming but maybe there is a better way..

You will only get it up from mobs you kill and not experience you gain from quests. Personally I'm farming the leves in camp Bluefog as I had 80 Allowances to burn though, but you get around 1% of a spiritbind from kill 2 level 47+ mobs.

Yeah, I do northern thanalan FATEs to help farm spiritbinding. Those ones that have a bunch of small stuff to kill give good spiritbinding if you can tag enough of them
