Playstation controller locking during chat

I have noticed a few times when I'm sending a chat message with my keyboard when I'm done typing it won't send. Then my select, and start button won't respond on my PlayStation controller, but the rest of the buttons do.

It's happened about 4 times this week and usually have to restart the game since I can't get to the main menu options with my start button.

Just wanted to let SE know about it, and if you have time to look into it that would be great. Btw I'm loving the game, keep up the good work. Thanks

I had same thing happen to me today, was a pain, had to logout to take care of it.

Are you sure that you don't have still the focus in the chat type box? If you use Select or Circle to move out of there or click with mouse somewhere else it's most likely to work just fine.

I can verify this bug has occurred for me. I was sending a response tell and when I hit enter, it suddenly wouldn't send nor would any of my buttons work. I should note that the text area was still able to type and delete, but tapping enter would not even allow the message to be sent. On a side note, I did notice that the sub command window was open over the recipients name however I was unable to focus on it due to the inability to use any controller functionality. I also attempted L1+R3 to see if it would activate the mouse feature but no, no response. This bug is rare but the only fix is to force-quit the client by holding the PS Button down and pressing "Quit Game".
