Really? What kind of logic is that on SE's part?!The quests ended up better than I thought. Lots of good lore in there, and with 1.17 and 1.17a they work as a good hyping machine.
They're nothing like leves in that sense, which is why they were implemented in the first place. Leves need other forms of storytelling in the future. BUT AS WE KNOW, the informed masses voted that guildleves are unimportant and thus we'll probably see them getting better after everything else. Thanks guys.
Wouldn't the natural option be to play to their strengths and produce content that the majority favors (whatever that is) and to de-emphasize the importance of disliked content. Oh man =(
The natural option is not, unlike what you might believe, to de-emphasize content that isn't favored by the players (because that is a lot of work gone waste) but to make said content better so that players will like it.
While the community's logic is "The current incarnation of system X is not good, SO AXE IT and do something else from the scratch."
Because it just makes sense to de-emphasize a lot of content that can be made good in a few simple or slightly larger tweaks.
