    100%? You FAIL!

    If they only change ONE thing in the crafting system, it needs to be this: If you hit 100% while crafting, even if your durability hits zero, the synthesis should succeed. I would wager that 30% of my synthesis failures per day are due to this, and it drives me absolutely nuts.

    It would be a patch without any real purpose or benefit. 0 is the arbitrary cutoff. If you don't want your synth to fail, don't petition the synth to change. Just don't go to 0 durability or know you might and accept it as a possible outcome. If seeing 100% on the screen makes you rage, life is full of cases where you succeed in some respect and yet you still completely fail. This will not be your last case. Instead of raging, which does nothing, better to just screenshot it so everyone can be like d'oh! Sorry man.

    Sure, 0 durability is broken, and yes it's the arbitrary cutoff. But 100% is a completed synth, and an arbitrary cutoff. I'd just rather see the system favor success over failure, rather than vice versa.

    I could go both ways with this argument, but I'm more inclined to side with keeping it as it is.

    To translate to real life: 0 durability/100 completion means "You finished it! Oh, but you did it wrong." This as opposed to 0/50 "You're half done, and I can already tell it's wrong."

    It's super frustrating to get those 0/100 synths (or anything 0/90+), I agree, but it makes sense the way it is.

    Oh, I sympathize, I really do cause I've failed plenty because of this as well. But I also sympathize with a future increase in market flooding if they "fixed" it.

    And then there are touch-ups. Something tells me the programmers' heads might explode on the topic of touch-ups if we asked for this to change.

    Succeed or failed with 0 durability make big different to item flooding.
    unless you want it to be succeed for the sake of SP, I agree with that.

    If succeed with 0 DUR/100% and obtain items, I will say "No"
    If failed with 0 DUR/100% but gain 75~100% SP, I will say "Yes"
