Relic weapon quests will dead end, eventually

With the lack of returns for doing chimera/hydra and the fact there's no duty finder for it, it's almost impossible to get a functioning 8 man party for them. I just spent god knows how long messaging each tank listed in player search and none of them responded or responded with "I've already done chimera, sorry"

If there's no reward in returning to chimera/hydra, how will there be a consistent amount of people to do this 8 man, non duty finder instance that's more or less required for later endgame content?

I wouldn't even think about going Chimera with a Duty Finder group, seeing people fail Ifrit over and over does not make me confident in random people. Shouting a bit, asking in LS makes way more sense.
I really hope that Titan was the last thing you can random with the Duty Finder, because that thing is, the cancer that kills game (just in my humble oppinion).

Well, in FFXI, the answer to this was usually "making friends and asking them for help". Edit: Sorry, that was disingenuous. I forgot to add "Or barring that, shout in Jeuno non-stop for six hours".

It's only been two weeks and the login issues mean that the number of people trying to do relics has hardly shut down yet - many haven't even finished the main quest. You'll probably get it done, eventually, if you really want it.

I think hard titan/ifrit/garuda is the last of the main storyline you can duty find
I know coil requires shout parties/ls parties

I don't have the gil to keep wiping and i can't do most endgame content because people don't like that my weapon is level 44, despite level 50 weapons only giving one extra attack and a lot lower stats

Well, in FFXI, the answer to this was usually "making friends and asking them for help".

I think actually FF11's better approach was Magians where if your unfortunate enough not to be able to do the boss route, you could do the farming route for a different weapon line. Shame everything in ARR is so linear but still dead ends.

I can relate, keeping myself over water with 16k gil but need to repair so much because of titan. And yeah, people are dumb, my dragoon mate has a good low level HQ himself which is better than the green lvl 50 (and also ten times as cheap).

Relic weapons are meant to be done as a FC/LS/Static and not PUGGed by randoms.

Actually half of my party last night already did it and just helping us because they wanted to.

I see people shouting to this very hour to do and usually only seeking a healer - it will only come to a dead end if SE continues to make content not viable for a server community; As in they continue to dump every single content, solo or not into the Duty Finder which trains people to ignore their server community.
