My account got hacked - stolen Gil. What should I do?

Hey guys...

I just realised right now, that my account got hacked. I had to change my password and now I see that 100.000 Gil have been stolen.

Nothing else as I can see it right now.

Any suggestions what I should do? Call the support? Anyone got experience with that?

Yeah, did that.

I just meant what to do with my missing Gil ( and maybe more ) in game.

There is something like a complete "reset" for the character to the point before the hack but it takes 7-10 days and I don't know WHAT gets resetted. I don't want to level to 50 this week and see me back at 40 in 10 days...

Customer service in this game is pretty horrid for a pay to play game, not going to lie. Only option is to go through their lengthy email response system i believe. gl =/

Haven't found that... I just want to try the live chat tomorrow but I fear, my 100000 Gil are gone.

Doubtful they'll replace your gil.... even in WoW when i got hacked once they didn't replace my gold, only my items.

You;d be surprised how asdfgh is not a valid password. When statistics say its 70% of the world's common pass.

Back in WoW they replaced everything stolen from me, having a good amount of gold in that game made you a target for the chinese. It didnt take Blizzard a day to recover my stuff, but this is different we just need to trust SE and hope they can develop into becoming a good company who can do things like Blizzard because this is a pay to play game and we should expect world class service so lets give SE a chance. I have experienced getting hacked in this game too, I too have all my gil stoen but my items still in place. Just go throiugh their game data recovery process which is quite long

This happened to me yesterday. Logged in from the night before and all my gil has vanished and I've been logged out in a different city.

I've submitted a ticket to have my account restored to the night before. You will get your gil back, but what I don't know is if it resets your actual character level....

For this reason I'm not going to level that character just to find out I've wasted 7-10 days. Also, you can't create new characters at the moment so I can't play at all.

Not ideal but I would just log off for the next week and do something else.
