    Jump Macro Problem (Revised)

The command /macroicon does not function correctly with the DRG ability Jump. (One guess is it might be a conflict with the general jump main command.)

    ISP:
    Cox

    Type of Internet Connection:
    Cable

    Internet Connection Speed:
    15 Mbps

    Date & Time:
9/7/2013, 8:00pm EST (mostly recently, but is a consistent issue)

    Frequency:
    Always

    Character Name:
    Jamison Rahl

    Race:
Race of your character when the issue occurred.
    Miqo'te M

    World:
    Hyperion

    Class/Level:
    DRG/50

    Area and Coordinates:
Coerthas Central Highlands 12,16 (occurs everywhere)

    Party or Solo:
    Solo

    NPC Name:
    None

    Monster Name:
    None/Training Dummy/Any monster

    In-Game Time:
    6:07pm

    Steps:

    - Create a user macro for the DRG Jump ability.
    - Have the line /macroicon Jump (or "Jump", I tried both) in the macro
    - This should replace the icon for the macro with the cooldown and icon of the DRG Jump ability
    - The icon is not replaced and the cooldown does not show.

    =========================

Here are the requested screenshots. First, a picture of /macroicon working as intended. In the picture is the macro itself. On the hotbar, left, is the real ability. On the right is the macro. When the macro is hit, the correct cooldown in shown.

Next, here's the non-working DRG Jump. When the macro is hit, it does not pick up and show the cooldown. (Direct ability on left, the macro on the right.) The macro does successfully trigger the ability, but not the /macroicon command.

I've tried both Jump and "Jump" to be safe. Finally, just as a test of another single-word ability, here's a picture of Invigorate working as it should:

I guess my question would be why are you using macros for single actions anyway when you can drop the actions directly on the bar? I would save macros for when you are wanting to run multiple actions at one time, and I know they are nice as a healer when you are constantly trying to target different people (can set up macros for each member for certain skills), but to just be running a single action at a time as a LNC like you are showing seems like it would be easier to simply drop the action onto the bar from the action/trait menu and use it that way.

Granted if you do ever want to put jump in a multi-action macro you will have this problem, just saying...

This actually is part of a more complicated macro, it's just boiled down here to the basic problem to keep it simple.

I've noticed something that is perhaps related to this issue. If I select a macro icon by clicking the icon and then add a /macroicon line in the macro itself, the CD and MP/TP numbers do not show up (the only way I've found to get them to show up after I've already selected an icon using the popup is to delete the macro and re-make it). Alternatively, on macros where I do not select an icon manually, but just use the /macroicon line, the CD and MP/TP works fine but I get no icon in the macro list, just the default gray square with M on it. This might possibly have something to do with the problem you're having.
