Amdapor keep- wrong loot settings

Greetings. I killed with party last boss in Amdapor keep and in the chest was loot- "toxotes tunic" for DoW, but I could not push "need"- only "greed". I'm playing monk and I dont have any such item in my inventory. I think it is a bug. Thank you

Toxotes set is for Archer/Bard.
Peltast set is for Pugilist/Monk.
Heitaros set is for Lancer/Dragoon.
Hoplite set is for the tanks.
Stragos set is for healers (WHM/SCH).
Demagogue set is for BLM/SMN.

Here is the item. Does anyone see here the sign "this gear is only for archers and bards"? I dont see such words too. It meens, that I must be able to push NEED button on rolling this thing, or it is a bug

If you can explain why a MONK would want a DEX based gear (dex only effects ranged DMG and block/parry rates) which will do nothing for a monk as it has no STR (you know the one main stat for melee DPS), then we can talk about why you can not need on it.

While this should probably be archer/bard only currently, it is marked as DoW because in the future when there are other DoW which are ranged DPS they would need to go back and change ever piece of DEX based gear rather than just add the need priority to the new class/job.

It doesn't mean that at all.. Needing isn't based on what is listed there I.E. Disciple of War... its based on the stats listed on the item. Why would a monk need dexterity at all.

Does it need to say its a bard item. The fact that its only DEX and not STR should be reason enough for a monk not to wear it. If a monk does wear it, you should be laughed out of the game for wearing gear that is worse for your class then your AF is.

i mean seriously... you played to 50, and you want to wear gear with no str on it? i get it has crit vit and acc but your AF is better this this for monk. Do you not understand how gear works -.-

If you had Need, it would let you take it over Archers/Bards - DEX is their primary stat and STR is yours, so the improvement you gain is dwarfed by theirs. I don't know MNK AF body stats from the top of my head, but I'd be surprised if this piece would provide more of a boost.
