then as suggested go post this as a suggestion over in the suggestion thread, since this is not a bug, it was designed this way on purpose.

Answer what I said then, why are you only wanting them to do this for bard gear when it's the same for other classes gear too and why you can't need on anything other than monk gear? Seems you want nothing more than to intentionally gimp yourself by using gear that is worthless for you and under the base af gear you get from your job quests. It's not a bug when most people seem to be smart enough to know by 50 that as a monk they do not need to roll need on dex gear.

Then as a Bard I "must" be able to need on gear that is meant for monks because you know only fair. If someone is too dumb to understand by lvl 50 what their core stat is for the gear they'll be getting then honestly no amount of changes outside of the game screaming in your face that a piece of gear is not for you will change people wanting to need on these pieces.

Why again are you complaining about only dex pieces exactly? Because as a monk you can't need roll on gear for dragoons that actually have str on them. Why is it only bard pieces that need this change that you're wanting?
