Miqo'te

to be honest i picked a miqote because it has the look of a DEX focussed race.... and i wanted to be an archer....but the cat look definitely makes it an even easier option.
i honestly like the look of ALL the races and have a good idea of how i will make them each look unique, but ill make more characters after i max a class or two on my miqote.
to me it just feels weird to pick a race that looks like if it was reallife they would have a clear dis advantage in their class, like a roegayden warrior vs a lafallel warrior. i know its a mmo and it comes down to the stats but its just something i take into consideration when choosing races.

I played a female miqo'te in phase 2, she was ok, didn't like the voice choices much, but I liked how she looked with dark blue skin and white facepaint.

Then phase 3 came and I couldn't make her look the same as the colour choices had changed and I made a male miqo'te and fell in love with him. I also find the miqo'te lore very interesting, how this whole sunseeker breeding male stuff works in a "modern (fantasy)" world.

But then I bumped into Merlwyb and crushed hard on her! And I ended up making a female roegadyn who stole my heart completely. I still play my roe, but I've created my manqo'te as my retainer and have him as a low level gladiator on the same server as my roe. I just couldn't give up on either. T_T

I did the opposite of what I normally do in MMOs with FFXIV. I usually play as female human rangers; I'm currently a male Roegadyn tank, and really enjoying it too!

I had a legacy Miqo'te, but I changed her into a female Highlander this time around. I haven't used that character yet.

Anyway, legacy Ragnarok seems really varied. There's a lot of everything running around.

That is what I think the bottle of Fantasia is for. I have already got 1 bottle of the stuff before my 30 day vet has kicked in. I just don't have the heart to use it to change my char back to Hyur

It really seems like 99% of the people on my server are Miqo'te, I am guilty of it myself. I have not seen a single Hyur or Roegadyn. I seen a couple Elezen and a few Lalafell.. but mostly just cats everywhere.

Hahaha I am on your server as well, and I am also a Miqo'te so you are right for sure. I honestly chose for the same reasons most people did, I am a huge anime nerd (although I have slacked off in the past few years) as is evident by my characters name, also I do love cats and have 2 of my own, and also I always wanted to play as one in FFXI and never got the chance to so I'm making up for it now... also yeah they do sit really cool :}
