    Encouraging players to use dungeons.

    I though that a good way encourage players to run more dungeons and get the most benefit from it (such as exp, loot, etc) would be to add a random mini fate on each dungeon.

    Think about it. Every dungeon you run, you have the chance to run into an active event (not always) inside of it and you could be highly rewarded upon completion. For example, it could provide massive exp bonus to even out with the fates outside and also give a random looting price upon the type of job/class you have. Did I mention seals for grand company as well?

    You know, its such a shame that they worked so much on aspects of dungeons(all of them in general) for people not to choose to do them more often or re run earlier ones.

    It might take a lot of effort to implement this and I know this might not go no where but just putting out there.

    What do you think about it?

    It's obvious that the Dungeons need some type of augment to balance out people running FATEs, but until they acknowledge it, the only thing we can do is wait patiently and bring up the fact in a stern but polite way.

    I always felt getting good gear was reason enough to run dungeons. >.>

    Only with high level ones, as we now outgrow the gear in a matter of hours. Only the top gear matters, as we are ina tiered game like WoW, there's no horizontal growth anymore, just vertical, so, why would anyone want to get middle levels gear if they'll have to stop using it faster than they can spiritbond it?

    but think about it in the future, maybe we will get some sort of vanity slot/consumable and people would want to get lower level gear just for the looks itself.

    Only reason I'm doing FATE right now is for seals. Add seals and problem solved. Then again you'll make more gil from dungeons than FATE

    I'd like to see what would happen to the duty finder servers if FATEs were disabled for a day, now that's a stress test.
