    Team work

    Much to our dismay, combination attacks are lacking, in every single game that has used combination attack, such as weapon skill chains in ffxi chrono trigger, resonance of fate, star ocean the entire series and many many more, have all been more interesting than our current system. Hopefully this situation is being reworked with the battle system mechanics. I hope that with all the experience Square and Enix and Square-Enix and your experience working with Tri-Ace ect ect can be will be used to the fullest extent to design a more fulfilling battle system. You have been successful in the past and we know you are still capable. Just an example, fire cast simutaniously with another character casting earth AOE could easily be meteor storm, or fire cast on a friendly character that is using doomspike could turn into doomfirespike, increasing the damage proportionate to the weapon skill dmg vs enemy weak to fire bonus damage for combination attack, bonus dmg for cross class combination. This system could be expanded on greatly to include attack spells and debuff spells and just about every other kind of attack magic or phisical or defensive ability. Mastering the use of these abilities would lend to greater freedom to the players, and the system itself could evolve limitlessly, leaving more freedom to the developers. This system could also be extended to the enemies of the game, lending to devestating attacks that can only exist if certain enemy formations appear, This in itself leads me to another subject, enemy groups should exist in the overworld game also, not just in leve or behest or quest.
