I hadn't seen this posted anywhere so I figured I'd throw it up here, but I was wondering what everyone would think about helping out Weavers / Leatherworkers a bit in their resource gathering. As it sits, both require you to kill things to get crafting mats. I don't have a problem with that specifically, but when it comes to needing A LOT of mats, endlessly killing things seems a bit out of balance with other crafting classes that require node materials. Here's my thoughts:
1: Make it so when you hit 20-25, as a part of your class quest you get a buff that you have to slot on your DoW / DoM class that raises the drop rate of crafting mats for that specific class from mobs that drop them by like 50-75%, or that buffs the amount dropped.
2: Introduce a Trapper class that is able to gather skins and hides and whatnot from Trapping nodes. I know this one would take more effort than the first, but it's still an idea
Thoughts? Would doing this upset the current balance? I have neither of these crafting classes yet, but a couple of friends do and while they don't mind farming for them, the lack of drops from mobs seems less rewarding than it could be (i.e. sometimes the mobs don't drop anything for a while and then you get one that drops 2 hides or skins or whatever, then nothing else for awhile).
